I’m Hugh.  Welcome to my blog.  All my life I’ve lived in the South.  Born in Mississippi, raised in Atlanta, and for the last 27 years, made a wonderful life in Tennessee.  I’m married to my best friend and the love of my life Laura.  Together we have four kids, mostly grown (but do they ever really grow up?).  Late in 2012, Laura and I made the decision to move to New York City and experience life in a very different world.  I took a job in the CIty in Senior IT Management for a large not for profit healthcare agency.  When I moved here, I looked for anything to help make the transition easier.  I didn’t find much.  So, this is my story, my adventure.  I hope you find something you can use, make your visit or stay in New York a little easier or at least be entertained.  Enjoy!
